James "Jim" and Sheron Knepp, Bourbon, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 1, 2010. James and the former Sheron Lytle were married Oct. 1, 1960.

They have seven children: David (and spouse Lisa) Knepp, Plymouth; Terri (and spouse John) Steele, Mishawaka; Daniel, Bourbon; Angela (and spouse John) Moyer, Goshen; Joy (and spouse Anthun) Barnes, South Bend; Andy (and spouse Shelly) Knepp, Winona Lake; and Clay Allen, deceased; 16 grandchilden; and two great-grandchildren.

He is a retired auctioneer and spent several years as a truck driver. He now spends his time cutting iron.

She is director of Kid's Country Preschool, Bourbon, and is also one of the assistant teachers. She also works part-time at Amish Acres, Nappanee.

They are actively involved with The Country Church, Bourbon.

The couple will celebrate with their family at Amish Acres Sunday.[[In-content Ad]]
