Lawrence and the former Suzanne Knepper were married Aug. 30, 1962, at United Church of Christ, Kimmel.
Lawrence retired in 2012. Suzanne is in human resources at Silgan Plastics, Ligonier.
The couple have three children: Brian Kistler, David Kistler and Angela Kistler-Wilson; and four grandchildren.
An open house will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 12 at their residence.
