Richard and Joan King, Warsaw, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 24, 2010.

Richard Dewayne King and the former Joan Bowser were married June 24, 1950, in the United Methodist Church, Mentone, by the Rev. David Gosser.

The couple have four children: Rita (and spouse John) Brown; Deb (and spouse Larry) Steller; Richard King Jr.; and John King; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and six great-step-grandchildren.

He is retired from General Transfer, Rochester. She is retired from Times-Union.

They would like you to share in their celebration with all their family and friends at an open house June 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Meeting Place, behind Farmers State Bank on Ind. 15 N.[[In-content Ad]]
