Twice a year Kids Market, Inc. holds a consignment sale of gently used items for children.  The second sale for 2009 took place back in September and was a big success.

The sale itself helps the women and children in Kosciusko County by giving them a place to sell their used children's items and clothe their children for the upcoming season at reasonable prices.

But beyond that, Kids Market, Inc. exists to reach out and help other women and children in the county as well.  This sale was no exception.

Following the sale, 72 boxes of items were donated to local charities to disperse to women and children in need.  And this week Kids Market, Inc. made a donation of $12,300 to local charities who share the mission of Kids Market and make a difference in the lives of those women and children.

"We are thrilled, not only by the amount we were able to give this fall, but also by the fact that we were able to give to 5 additional organizations.  We were excited to hear about the ways these organizations are serving our community," said a Kids Market press release.

This year Kids Market, Inc. gave the proceeds of their semi annual sale to CCS Project Independence, Beaman Home, Heartline Pregnancy Center, B.A.B.E., Fostering Hope Endowment Fund, Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, Baker Youth Clubs, North Webster Community Center and Lakeland Youth Center.

The women involved in the Kids Market sales love the fact that this sale helps so many people "It's so exciting to be a part of something that touches so many lives and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the spring of 2010."
