He was born June 29, 1919, in Atwood, to Roy and Pearl Huffman Ryman. On Oct. 3, 1942, in Akron, he married Pauline Holloway, who died Feb. 2, 2000.
He was a retired carpenter and worked for Miller and Sons, Silver Lake.
Surviving are four sons: Jerry (and spouse Cheryl) Ryman, Warsaw; Robert Ryman, Spartanburg, S.C.; Fred (and spouse Mary) Ryman, Fort Wayne; and Douglas (and spouse Vonda) Ryman, Claypool; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Laura Belle Roberts, Atwood. He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a brother.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
