Keep The Judges

Of late, I've seen praise bestowed on Judge Sutton. I agree with the articles 100 percent.

Of the few dealings I have had with judges, Joe Sutton is the most understanding, polite and fair judge I have heard. But, let's not forget the other judges that our county has.

My personal view of Judge Huffer is excellent. I have not been in his court. I base this on his ease to deal with in other matters.

Judge Reed I have seen in action. I have sat in on a couple trials that he presided over. In my opinion, he handled some tough situations remarkably.

Judge Jarrette I'm at a loss for. However, a very close friend of mine, in high school and now, related a story to me several years ago. Terry Braun was a senior patrol officer that worked with Kosciusko County for a short time before his retirement. One day Terry was asked to go see Judge Jarrette. Terry could not imagine why. When he arrived at Judge Jarrette's office, he was offered a chair, and a conversation began. Judge Jarrette asked (Terry) what he could do to make Terry's job easier. Terry was beside himself. Never had he been offered help like this before. So, I guess I think Judge Jarrette is OK also.

Why not keep the judges we have? They all seem to care, do their duties and more very well.
