Frank and Nancy Kealey marked their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 18, 2008. Frank William Kealey and Nancy Margaret Shaw were married Sept. 18, 1948, at the First Presbyterian Church, South Bend, with the Rev. Charles Tupper Bailey officiating.

The couple graduated together in 1947.

He retired from the optical field after 45 years. He worked 40 years as the co-owner of Stuart Optical (now Hope Optical) from 1954-1994. She is a homemaker and worked in the business.

The couple have seven children: Gary (and spouse) Tina Kealey, Saugus, Calif.; Paul A. (and spouse Naomi) Kealey, Danville, Calif.; Daniel Scott Kealey, Burnsville, Minn.; Bruce Stuart (and spouse Shaun) Kealey, Buckeye, Ariz.; Coleen Ann Kealey, Bloomington, Ill.; Kris Shaw (and spouse Anita) Kealey, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and Kathleen K. (and spouse Michael) Crick, Fort Wayne. They have 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with family and friends at a reception hosted by their daughters Coleen and Kathleen Saturday at the Ramada Inn.[[In-content Ad]]
