KCSS Celebrates March Birthdays

The Kosciusko Community Senior Services Senior Activities Center hosted their monthly ‘Birthday Get-Together’ Thursday for all seniors born in the month of March. About 70 seniors attended. Warsaw Meadows donated a lunch of submarine sandwiches, cake and ice cream.    Kim Nance, Kosciusko Homecare and Hospice. spoke about her organization and the different services available to the community. Karen Kauffman from Season’s Homecare was bingo caller, and bingo prizes were donated by Kosciusko Homecare and Hospice, Seasons Homecare, Mason’s Healthcare and Warsaw Meadows. County Commissioners Say ‘No’ To Rezoning For Data Center
A data center won’t be coming to the Leesburg area anytime soon. By a 3-0 vote Tuesday, the Kosciusko County Commissioners upheld the Area Plan Commission’s 8-0 recommendation to deny rezoning over 500 acres from agricultural to industrial-3. The property is on the north side of CR 700N, west of CR 300W, in Prairie and Jefferson townships.
