July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.

By Staff Report-

Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department detectives arrested a second individual in connection with the Wawasee area burglaries.
According to a KCSD release issued today, officers arrested Terry Wayne Yoder, 25, Goshen, Friday and preliminarily charged him with felony burglary.
Yoder also has been correlated to the various burglaries in and around the Syracuse-Lake Wawasee area within the past year. Yoder had initially been located by members of the Goshen Police Department with information provided by KCSD deputies after obtaining a warrant for his arrest. Yoder is currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Robert Boatwright, 24, Milford, was arrested Wednesday at approximately 5:16 p.m. and preliminarily charged him with felony burglary after a lengthy investigation by the KCSD.
Numerous residences in the Turkey Creek Township/Lake Wawasee area had been burglarized through the winter and spring months of 2014. A break came in the multiple theft cases when a North Webster police officer initiated a traffic stop in the early morning hours in May. During the vehicle stop, information related to potential suspects was obtained that was subsequently given to KCSD detectives.
As the investigation progressed during the summer, evidence connecting Boatwright to the various thefts and burglaries was obtained, along with DNA that had been analyzed by the Indiana State Police Laboratory. KCSD detectives were able to obtain a burglary warrant on Boatwright that was served by Milford police on Wednesday.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office also assisted KCSD and Goshen Police Department with the investigation.
