Kosciusko Community Hospital released a statement on the possible acquisition of Multi-Township EMS by hospital parent company Community Health Systems.
“We are always considering how we can best serve the medical needs of our patients and region. As any new plans become firm we look forward to sharing the news with our board of trustees, employees, medical staff and the broader community,” said Kim Finch, KCH chief nursing officer, in the statement released this morning.
M-TEMS has been in negotiations with the hospital and CHS to evaluate a possible acquisition, which M-TEMS says would lower costs for towns it contracts with. An asset purchase agreement will be discussed at a closed meeting Monday between M-TEMS directors and representatives of those towns.[[In-content Ad]]
