NAPPANEE – Kay I. Felts, 69, Etna Green, went home to be with her heavenly Father at 9:38 p.m. June 17, 2014, at Vibra Hospital in Fort Wayne after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 24, 1944, in Elkhart County, to John and Lillian Hartman Morris. She married Charles C. Felts. They were divorced, and he passed away on Dec. 10, 1992.
She was a lifetime area resident. She graduated from Nappanee High School and was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Nappanee. She loved her family and grandchildren very much.
Surviving are her children, Rebecca (and spouse Rodney) Nace, Elkhart, Kimberly (and spouse Gary) Long, Etna Green, Greg (and spouse Michele) Felts, Elkhart, and Charles Felts, Mt. Pleasant, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Debra Morris, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Morris.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor Bob Kulp, Grace Brethren Church, Elkhart, officiating. Burial will follow at Olive East Cemetery.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m Monday.
