BRYAN, Ohio - Kay Ann Patten, 62, of Edgerton, Ohio, and a former Bryan, Ohio, resident, died Dec. 23, 2008, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, where she had been a patient the past three days.

She was born Oct. 24, 1946, in Bryan, to Homer and Esther J. Patten Parks.

Survivors include her father, Gene Blad, Warsaw; six half-brothers; three half-sisters; a step-brother; and two step-sisters. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Parks; her mother Esther June Parks-Blad; a step-sister and a half-brother.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Mark Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
