She was born March 21, 1923, in Topeka, to Noah and Mary Whetstone Hershberger. On Dec. 6, 1945, she married LeRoy E.G. Miller, who died Oct. 11, 1998.
She was a member of Old Order Amish Church and a homemaker. She worked at Miller's Greenhouse for more than 30 years.
Surviving are five daughters: Mary (and spouse Elias) Yoder, Colon, Mich.; Wilma (and spouse Albert) Coblentz, Middlefield, Ohio; and Alma (and spouse Marvin) Bontrager, Edna (and spouse Leland) Yoder and Barbara (and spouse Wayne) Miller, all of Nappanee; two sons, Ezra (and spouse Louise) Miller, Nappanee, and Herbert (and spouse Mary) Miller, Wakarusa; two sisters, Polly Beechy, Topeka, and Ella (and spouse Enos) Knepp, LaGrange; 40 grandchildren; 103 great-grandchildren; three adopted great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and two step- great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a grandchild, four great-grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Joe Troyer residence. Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
Calling is after 2 p.m. today and all day Friday at the family residence.
