Lloyd and Lucy Kammerdiener, Syracuse, marked their 45th wedding anniversary Aug. 3, 2008. Lloyd Kammerdiener and Lucy Babcock were married Aug. 3, 1963, in Erie, Ind., with the Rev. Schroeder officiating.

She is semi-retired after 40-1/2 years of being a licensed home daycare provider. He is a retired after more than 20 years at Smoker Craft in New Paris. The couple are members of the Syracuse Church of God

The couple have three children: the late Tonda Miller Hewitt; Cathy (and spouse Mike) Coy, Syracuse; and Amy (and spouse Jon) Lippe, Claypool. They have six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated the anniversary with family aboard the Dixie Boat, Webster Lake.
