Junior Achievement of Warsaw/Tippecanoe Valley has partnered with Teachers Credit Union to help bring business, economic and free enterprise education to kids.
The Schoolhouse Project is a fundraising opportunity for Junior Achievement with help from TCU in which customers donated any amount to purchase a paper  “schoolhouse.” The proceeds then went to Junior Achievement serving Warsaw/Tippecanoe Valley to help them reach K-12 students with its education programs. Through TCU’s efforts, the Schoolhouse Project raised $1,457.07 for JA.
Along with the fundraising campaign, Junior Achievement and TCU are also working together to provide classroom consultants – the volunteers who bring their real life experiences to students in the classroom when they teach JA programs.
“We are extremely happy to partner with TCU on the JA Schoolhouse Project,” said Fred Hite, JA board president.  “Their support, both financially and through the recruitment of JA volunteers will help ensure that JA continues to reach even more students in the Warsaw/Tippe Valley area.”
Junior Achievement would especially like to thank Karen Mayer, JA board member and manager of both TCU north and south branches for spearheading this fundraising effort with her employees and TCU members.[[In-content Ad]]
