She was born May 9, 1910, in Selma, to Frank and Carrie Swander Black. On June 22, 1965, she married Gus Liske, who died in 1987.
She moved to the Syracuse area in 1976 from Hoffman Estates, Ill. She was employed with Commerce Clearing House in Chicago for 30 years. She attended Friends Church at Dewart Lake, was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Auxiliary in Syracuse.
Surviving are two stepsons, Ronald and Thomas Liske; and seven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with the Rev. David Smitley officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
