Mary Ellen Johnson, Warsaw, celebrated her 90th birthday June 16.

She was born in 1921, in Huntington, to Carl and Virginia Robinson. On Feb. 10, 1944, in Riverside, Calif., she married Ralph “Boag” Johnson, who died in July 2005.

They moved to the Warsaw area in 1961.

She has five children: David and Greg, both deceased; Jorie (and spouse Jim) Webster, Warsaw; Kristine (and spouse Larry) Ummel, Kimmell; and Leslie (and spouse Ray) Barna, Vandalia, Mich.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchildren, all of the Warsaw area.

A surprise open house was June 12 with many family members and close friends attending.[[In-content Ad]]
