By Staff Report-

Plans are underway for Joe’s Kids first annual dinner, tailgate and auction on Sept. 26.
Rebecca Bazzoni, director of Joe’s Kids, announced Parkview Warsaw as the event sponsor.
“We are excited to partner with Parkview Warsaw for this event and appreciate the value they place on our service to the children of this community,” Bazzoni is quoted as saying in a provided press release.
Joe’s Kids is a 501(c)3 nonprofit pediatric rehabilitation clinic that provides physical, occupational and speech therapy to special kids with special needs in Kosciusko County and the surrounding area. It provides care to children with a wide variety of diagnosis, including cerebral palsy, stroke, Down Syndrome and many other genetic and developmental disorders.
Preparations started many months ago as it organized a team of volunteers to put this event in motion, according to the press release. With the help of the team and others, the fundraiser will be held at Winona Lake Trails Meadow Sept. 26. This is a casual, sports-themed event and everybody is encouraged to come dressed in their favorite team jersey. Registration and tailgate begins at 4:30 p.m., with a formal program beginning at 6 p.m.
This event has come together because of the generosity of the community and the many gifts that have been donated to make this event a success, according to the release. A few of the items up for auction are a Notre Dame all-access experience, two tickets to the Colts vs. Patriots game, a vacation home in Hawaii for a week, spa package and more.
