She was born July 19, 1925, in Young America, to Ora and Ethel Hubler McCloskey. On Jan. 18, 1947, she married Paul E. Smiley, who died Nov. 27, 2003.
Surviving are a son, Brad Smiley, Rochester; three daughters, Judy (and spouse Mike) Sherman, South Lyon, Mich.; Mary (and spouse Dr. Steve) Jennings, Rensselaer; and Lora (and spouse John) Pfeiffer, Bremen; a sister, Sue Wheeler, Logansport; a brother, Rex McCloskey, Galveston; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Argos Bible Church, with the Rev. Phillip Platz officiating. Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, and one hour prior to the service in the church Friday.
