She was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to James T. and Helen Stortz Cahill. She married Patrick E. Foreman, who died Dec. 29, 2007.
She retired from Penguin Point, Warsaw, after 10 years of service and formerly owned businesses with her husband in Orland Park and Frankfort, Ill. She loved cooking, singing and gardening. She enjoyed drawing and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are nine children: Steve (and spouse Jana) Foreman, Frankfort, Ill.; Gary (and spouse Mona) Foreman, Taylorville, Ill.; Dennis Foreman (and Cathie Hauger), Tinley Park, Ill.; Vicki (and spouse Ned) O'Farrell, Chicago, Ill.; Patrick Jr. (and spouse Elisabeth) Foreman, Plainfield, Ill.; Kurt (and spouse Kim) Mulrenin and Karen (and spouse Mike) Schill, all of Port Orange; Maureen (and spouse Fred) Grabs, Joliet, Ill.; and Cathy (and spouse Hector) Rodriquez, Lockport, Ill.; a brother, Jack (and spouse Helena) Cahill, Palos Heights, Ill.; three sisters: Lovie (and spouse Bob) Lawrie, Orland Hills, Ill.; Helen (and spouse Ralph) Iser, Allegan, Mich.; and Aggie (and spouse Mike) Sweeney, Lake Village; 37 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Patricia Gerth and Michael Foreman; a sister, Kay Lincoln; and a granddaughter, Christine Scruggs.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, with Pastor Jim Baughman officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
