Jimmy Wayne To Headline Summer Concert

Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety Friday approved Warsaw and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment LLC entering into a $20,000 contract for Wayne to perform in Warsaw.
Wayne will perform July 23 at 8 p.m. in Glover Pavilion in Central Park.
The board previously approved classic rock band Foghat to be the headliner for the Classic Rock concert June 18 at 8 p.m. at Glover Pavilion in Central Park.
In other business, the board approved a job description for Warsaw Fire Department's division training officer. The position was held by Rob Barker before he stepped down.
Because of the reduction in management responsibilities, Warsaw Human Resources Director Jennifer Whitaker recommended when the position is filled that the salary be lowered to reflect the change.
The board also:[[In-content Ad]]- Approved a $22,951.83 contract between Jones Custom Renovations LLC and Warsaw for the construction for an addition to the Oakwood Cemetery shop.
- Approved a 2010 contract between Warsaw Parks Department and Warsaw-Wayne Township for the township to pay the city $69,282 for programs the department offers.
- Approved an agreement between the city and Civic Plus to redesign the city's Web site to allow residents to make online payments, such as for utility payments.
