Jessica Louise Gaither, 68, of Warsaw, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Nov. 15, 2012, in her residence.
She was born Feb. 16, 1944, in Medora, Ill., to Paul and Freda Meridith Shelton. On March 25, 1977, she married Eldon Ray Gaither, who survives in Warsaw.
She served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. She graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing School and was a nurse for 45 years. Most recently she worked as an LPN at Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake. She was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Also surviving are a son, Aaron Vetter, Osceola; a step-son, Steve Bennett, Beaumont, Texas; four granddaughters; and a step-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and two sons.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Warsaw Wesleyan Church officiated by the Revs. Gale Janofski and L. Andrew Weaver. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
