SYRACUSE - Jerry W. Myers, 57, of Cromwell, died at 6:30 a.m. July 4, 2008, in his residence.

He was born Oct. 5, 1950, in Bluffton, to Roy C. and Emma B. Curry Myers. On Oct. 4, 1997, in Gatlinburg, Tenn., he married Kathleen S. Wasson Rhoades, who survives.

Living most of his life in the Kosciusko and Noble counties, he was a 1969 Wawasee High School graduate and was a supervisor at Supreme Corp., Goshen, for the last 10 years. He formerly attended the Baptist church.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rebekah Myers, Sturgis, Mich., and Karen Myers, Goshen; two sons, Chester (and spouse Dawn) Myers and Joshua Myers, all of Goshen; two stepdaughters, Sherri Tiller, Cromwell, and April Mangas, Union City; two stepsons, Brad (and spouse Lisa) Buck, Portland, and Brett (and spouse Ronatta) Buck, Portland; 20 grandchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a brother and his stepfather.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Byer Cemetery with Pastor John French officiating.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse.
