COLUMBIA CITY – Jerry-Lou Reimer, 71, of Columbia City, passed away at 9 p.m. March 14, 2013, in Parkview Oaks, Columbia City. She was born March 25, 1941, in Allen County, to Lester V. and Martha Ellen Leaman Hosler. On Nov. 16, 1957, at Grace Lutheran Church, Columbia City, she married Price Lee Reimer, who preceded her in death. A long-time resident of Whitley County, she graduated from Columbia City High School in 1959. She worked at Home Health Care through the Whitley County Senior Citizen Center and retired as a production worker with AutoLiv, Columbia City. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary 1906 and American Legion Auxiliary, Herbert Kuhn Post 253, North Webster. Surviving are a daughter, Tamera Blosser, Columbia City; two sons, Arthur Wayne (and spouse Julie) Reimer, Leesburg, and Les-Lee P. (and spouse Jeanne) Reimer, Pierceton; four grandchildren: Terry Lee Reimer, Fort Wayne; and Dustin Wayne Reimer and Daniel George Blosser, both of Columbia City; and Racheal Lysik, Pierceton; two great-grandchildren, Brody Lee and Sawyer Isaac Reimer; an honorary granddaughter, Kristina Deiser, Columbia City; four honorary great-grandchildren; and her stepmother, Isabella F. Hosler, Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Charlotte Alisa Reimer. No services are planned. Burial will be at a later date in South Park (Annex) Cemetery.
