Jeanette Sylvia Walker Bell, 80, of Warsaw, died July 29, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born Sept. 19, 1926, in Columbia City, to William Landis and Ora Mae Pence Walker. She married Ellis Vanderpool, who died in January 1970; Norman Bell, who died in December 1979; Dean Zeller, who died in November 1988; and Stanley Shilling, who died in March 2003.

She was a retired office manager and chiropractic assistant for Dr. Gary Grover. She attended Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw; and was a member of Modern Homemakers Club; Red Hats, Warsaw, and Fort Myers, Fla.; American Legion Auxiliary; and Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are three sons: Tom Vanderpool, Greenfield; Ken Vanderpool, Fort Wayne; and Roger Vanderpool, Casa Grande, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ron (Pattie) Yarian, Warsaw; several stepchildren, including Doug Shilling, Silver Lake; a brother, Ed Walker, South Whitley; a sister, Louise Keirn, Kendallville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. James Mcdonald officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
