He was born Jan. 25, 1945, in Denver, Ky., to Vernie and Ora Arms Blair.
He worked at ABC Industries, Winona Lake, for 23 years, retiring in 1994. He moved to this area from Paintsville, Ky., 36 years ago.
Surviving are two sons, James C. (and spouse Penny) Blair, Pierceton, and Andrew (and spouse Jeni) Riley, Winona Lake; two daughters, Sarah Blair and Sandra (and spouse John) Amador, both of Winona Lake; three brothers: Robert (and spouse Linda) Blair, Warsaw; Wayne Blair, Winona Lake; and Larry Pelphrey, Sidney, Ohio; a sister, Anna Mary Meade, Louisiana; eight grandchildren: Amanda, Joshua and Michael Blair; Carlos and Cody Amador; and Eric, David and Brianna Blanton; and 16 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Lee Blair; his father, Vernie Blair; a brother, Willis Blair; and a sister, Wilma Carol Lowe.
Services were at 1 p.m. today at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Chad Burkhart of Victory Christian Center, Warsaw, officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
