James Edgar Johnson, 91, died July 22, 2007.

He was married to Fran Johnson for 38 years, and Lucy Johnson for 30 years.

He was owner of Johnson Lumber Co. and helped Owen Emerick to begin Owen's Market. He donated the grounds to the YMCA.

Surviving are three children: David Johnson, Le Belle, Fla.; Mark Johnson, Pahoa, Hawaii; and Frances Johnson Wright, Dallas, Texas.

No service is planned as his ashes are to be spread in Hawaii.[[In-content Ad]]
