He was born Aug. 20, 1942, in Burdine, Ky., one of three children of Claude and Ruby Holifield Frazier. In 1981, he was married in the First Christian Church of Warsaw to Meleanie Patterson, who survives in Connersville.
He graduated from Warsaw High School. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served with an Army Tank Division. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Warsaw.
For over 40 years, he was employed as a lab technician in the plastic division of Spartech, Warsaw. Following his retirement, they moved to Connersville to be near their family. In his leisure, he enjoyed cooking, camping, playing the guitar, singing Elvis songs and was known as a handyman.
Also surviving are three children: Jeffrey Frazier (and companion Carin), Sidney; Christopher (and spouse Renee) McGowen, Pierceton; Michelle Frazier, Connersville; six grandchildren: James and Jeffrey (and spouse Amber) Shanes, LaChelle and Michael Frazier, all of Connersville, and Alaska and Draven Frazier, both of Pierceton; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Shanes and Maci Shanes, both of Connerville; a brother, Harold Frazier, Warsaw; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Frazier.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, Connersville, with Paul Bowling officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Fayette County Veteran Council.
