Jacquelyn  “Jacquie” Lee Weddell Benoit, 71, ­Warsaw, passed away Sept. 10, 2014.
She was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Danville, Ill., to Charles A. and Maryjane Mendenhall Weddell. On April 25, 1987, she married Richard Benoit, who survives.
She graduated from Danville High School and earned a degree from the National Louis University.
She raised two sons, Kevin and Bryan Wall, in Bourbonnais, Ill. She worked for J.R. Short Milling in Kankakee, Ill., where she met and later married Richard. her husband of 27 years. Together they enjoyed her two sons and Richard’s two sons and families. After moving to Indianapolis, she worked for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for eight years and retired in the spring of 2000.
She and Richard moved to Wichita, Kan., and lived there for 10 years. They then moved to Warsaw and have been there for two years.
Also surviving are three children: Kevin Wall, Indianapolis; Chad (and spouse Jennifer) Benoit, Edmond, Okla.; and Gary Benoit, Arkansas City, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Wall; a brother, Charles Weddell; and her special grandmother that raised her, Beulah Daniels.
A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of Jane and Bill Lee, 816 Columbia Court, Avon.
