Iva Marie Rosbrugh, 95, died at 1:25 p.m. June 27, 2012, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.

She was born Dec. 1, 1916, in Leesburg, to Samuel O. and Eva M. Stickler Stookey. On Sept. 13, 1949, in Greenfield, she married Warren Rosbrugh, who preceded her in death July 11, 1995.

A lifetime Warsaw and Leesburg resident, she was a trust officer at First National Bank, retiring in 1976, and also was a bookkeeper for United Telephone Co. and for Phillipson Clothing Store. She was co-owner of Warren’s Men’s and Boys Wear, Nappanee. She was a member of Leesburg United Methodist Church, Warsaw Chapter 88 of Order Eastern Star for more than 50 years, Warsaw American Legion Auxiliary. Known as “The Egg Lady”, she used eggs of all sorts to make exquisite decorative pieces that were sold around the world. She also made beautiful necklaces from Sunday church bulletins.

Surviving are five nieces: Ann Broadbent, Elkhart; Marilyn Swem, Boone, N.C.; Joanne Hoglund, Berlin, Ma.; Bobby Lou Phelan, Arizona; and Donna Kay Pineda, Kendallville. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Raymond, Earl, Glen and Karl Stookey.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.

Calling is from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
