IURC Approves Sale Of Utility To North Webster

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved the sale of North Shore Public Utilities to the town of North Webster Wednesday.
The utility, which provides sewer service to the Epworth Forest neighborhood, needs significant repairs and improvements that the utility could not afford, said Mike Leppert, spokesman for the commission.
North Webster plans to upgrade the company's wastewater collection system. Sewer rates for Epworth Forest are not expected to change. [[In-content Ad]]
