Apparently our last three presidents have little knowledge of the Bible. Israel is the only nation on earth whose borders are laid out in the Bible. The Bible has clear warnings to nations who draw the sword against Israel or who try to part her land.
Mr. Obama calls the Jews “occupiers”; they don’t only own and occupy, it has belonged to them for centuries. There is no historical basis for any such thing as a Palestinian State, such as the U.N. (United Nothing) implies.
After the first world war it was occupied by the British and they deemed it as desolate and unfit for habitation. The Bible says when the Jews are returned to their ancient homeland it will bloom like a rose.
Several years ago I had a chance to spend some time in Israel. It certainly does bloom like a rose, and this country of 6 million people export food for 30 million. It is the only country in the Middle East where you find all religions represented: There are mosques, synagogues, all kinds of Christian churches.
As Rick Badman said in a recent letter, there is going to be a war in the middle against Israel. Russia, Iran and other allies will attack Israel. They will be destroyed. I believe the Bible indicates it will take seven months to bury the dead.
Some of the negotiations now going on with Iran remind me of my high school days. Neville Chamberlin was waving the white piece of paper with the peace treaty with Adolph Hitler.
Now in my 92nd year, I had a first-hand knowledge as to how that ended. It left Europe devastated and 50 or 60 million dead.
From a prior letter you know I am giving Tom Metzger an all-expense-paid trip to Israel in June. I was baptized in the River Jordan next to the Sea of Galilee. I recommend Tom do the same thing. It has great healing powers.
Although I don’t know any Jews personally, I have given considerable money to Jewish organizations to help get Jews back into their homeland.
