FORT WAYNE - Isobel C. Fraser, 87, of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, died July 27, 2008.

She was born May 2, 1921, in Inversess, Scotland, to Duncan and Agnes Fraser.

She retired from The Brethren Home Missions Group, where she spent most of her career in Los Angeles, Calif., working with the blind and disabled elderly. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Fort Wayne. She graduated from North Side High School, Fort Wayne, in 1939, and earned a bachelor's degree from Bob Jones College in 1946.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, Fort Wayne.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
