NORTH MANCHESTER - Irene Ulrey Mishler, 99, of Timbercrest Church of the Brethren Home, North Manchester, died at 7:45 a.m. Jan. 25, 2011, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born April 20, 1911, in Kosciusko County, to Alpheus B. and Cora May Ross Ulrey. On March 5, 1933, in Liberty Mills, she married Homer E. Mishler, who died Dec. 30, 1976.
She graduated from Sidney High School. She was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren and later Eel River Community Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are a daughter, Corinne Jane Lindsey, Bartlett, Tenn.; and grandson; step-great-grandson; and a brother, Paul Ulrey, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters and a grandson.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester, with the Rev. Byron Miller officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitley.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
