BUCHANAN, Mich. - Irene June Bell, 70, of 16259 Merson Court, Buchanan, Mich., died at 10:02 Aug. 30, 2008, in Lakeland Hospital, Niles, Mich.

She was born Nov. 6, 1937, in Buchanan. On Jan. 1, 1964, in South Bend, she married Irvin Ray Bell, who survives.

Also surviving are a son; two daughters, including Pamela Marie (and spouse David) Capps, Claypool; a half brother; a sister; four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Bible Church, Niles, with Pastor Brad Lowmax officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.

Calling is from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church.
