AKRON - Kenzie Raylee Moore Shultz, newborn daughter of Kily V. Shultz and Rachael Moore, of Rochester, died at 11:54 p.m. June 9, 2007, shortly after birth, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

Also surviving are grandparents, Andrea Rogers, Kelly Shultz and Kris Murphy, all of Rochester, and Timothy Jackson, South Bend; and great-grandparents: Jeffrey and Julie Beatti, Rochester; Kathy Christopher, Niles, Mich.; Don and Elizabeth Shultz, Deedsville; and Carolyn Murphy. She was preceded in death by a great-grandfather.

A graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Rochester IOOF Cemetery (baby section), Rochester, with Pastor William Babb officiating.

No calling is planned.

PIERCETON – The Pierceton Town Council voiced their support for a variance request regarding fencing at a local business during its Monday council meeting. Chris Staley, one of LexLil Contracting's owners, said Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission Director Matt Sandy wants him to have fencing around the entirety of his business. If approved, the variance would permit LexLil Contracting to have 100% outside unscreened storage and display.
