Hutcherson Earns Scholarship

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - A Warsaw Community High School graduate has earned a Presidential Scholarship to North Central College in Naperville, Ill. Since 1978, North Central College has offered the Presidential Scholarship to academically talented and highly motivated students. The Presidential Scholarship is the top merit-based scholarship offered to students. Each year, Presidential Scholars make up less than 15 percent of the incoming class. The Presidential Scholarship is based on a combination of a student's high school grade-point average from core academic classes and ACT/SAT test scores and is renewable for up to four years. The Presidential Scholar from the area who will begin her studies at North Central College in September is Kayla Hutcherson, Winona Lake, a graduate of Warsaw Community High School, who plans to major in biology.[[In-content Ad]]
