Gary and Sandra Hurd, Warsaw, are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary Saturday.
Gary and the former Sandra England were married March 28, 1970, at Packerton Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Chad Burkhart.
Gary retired from Kosciusko REMC in 2002 and from Warsaw Metal Products in 2009. Sandra retired from Warsaw Family Eyecare in 2012.
They are active in their church, and enjoy gardening, volunteering in the community and spending time with their grandchildren.
Their children are Dr. Tabitha (and spouse Derek) Temple, Warsaw, and Tim (and spouse Amy) Hurd, Elizabethtown, Ky. They also have 5 grandchildren.
The family plans to give them a card shower, and the couple would enjoy hearing from friends and family. Cards may be sent to them at 5381 S. Country Club Road, Warsaw, IN 46580.

A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School.
