Shelley Hunter and Matthew Townsend were married June 21, 2008, at the Hunter residence with Dr. Bill Hagenmeyer officiating. The bride is the daughter of Gary Hunter and Paula Hunter, both of Warsaw; the groom's parents are Candace Townsend, Warsaw, and John Townsend, Indianapolis.

Maids of honor were Ashley Freeman, Warsaw, and Carrie Dowling, Chicago, Ill. Bridesmaids were Cheryl Shepherd, Warsaw, and Megan Denney, Indianapolis. Flower girls were Delaney Byron and Tessa Graney, both of Warsaw.

Best men were Matthew Smith, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Jarod Leasure, Fort Wayne. Groomsmen were Michael Asbell, Indianapolis, and Zachary Clemens, Fort Wayne. Ring bearers were Parker Kelley and Preston Stone, both of Warsaw.

A reception was held at the Hunter residence, Warsaw.

The bride is a a 2003 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, and a 2008 graduate of Purdue University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in interior design with a minor in art history.

The groom is the wellness coordinator at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He is a 2001 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Machester College in 2005. He currently is pursuing a master's degree at Indiana Wesleyan University.
