Howard, Li Lead At AJGA Stonehenge Open

A pair of out-of-state golfers fired 5-under 66s Tuesday and lead the 144-player field at the AJGA Stonehenge Open.
After play was delayed by weather, Dublin, Ohio’s Chad Howard carded five birdies, including four in the first nine holes, to take a two-stroke lead in the field of 108 boys.
On the girls side, the field is made up of 36 competitors.
Catherina Li, of Kent, Wash., leads the way with a 66.
Deanna Song, who will be a senior at Penn High School, is the most local girl in the tournament.
Song shot a 5-over 76 and is tied for 13th place.
Among locals, soon-to-be Warsaw senior Jon Schram carded a 1-over 72 and is tied for 25th place.
Quentyn Carpenter, who will be a senior at Triton, shot 75.
Other locals in the tournament include Warsaw’s Tim Ahlersmeyer (77), Josh Ahlersmeyer (78), Jared Essig (78), Evan Cultice (81), Ryan Cultice (82).
Play was scheduled to resume today, with the final round slated for Thursday.[[In-content Ad]]
