Jack L. and Helen D. Horn, Akron, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 22, 2009. Jack Horn and Helen Deaton were married Feb. 22, 1959, at Claypool United Methodist Church with the Rev. Priest officiating. Rev. Priest officiated the ceremony of the bride's parents 22 years earlier.

He retired from Sonaco Paper Products, Akron. She retired from Crossroads Podiatry, Rochester.

The couple have two children, Jeffrey J. Horn, Rochester, and Pamela M. Horn McCoy, Lancaster, Ohio. They have four grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with an open house hosted by their family Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the Church of Christ, Rochester. Relatives and friends are invited to the open house, and the couple request no gifts.[[In-content Ad]]
