Hollar Receives Ivy Tech Scholarship

Hollar received the scholarship as a statewide high school Business Professionals of America high school finalist.
Hollar competed both individually and in a group at the district and state levels and individually at the national level in the Digital Media Publication category. His individual project was a short promotional video for the following year's National Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas.
Hollar won the individual event at the state level which advanced him to the national competition in Reno, Nev. His Digital Media Publication project finished sixth nationwide.
BPA is a co-curricular Career Technical Education student organization which allows students to compete in various presentation, team, computer and financial events as well as network professionally within the business arena.[[In-content Ad]]Hollar plans to major in business and complete an associate degree at Ivy Tech and transfer a four-year state university.
