Holderread Gets $500 Scholarship From Sheriff

A Wawasee High School graduate has been awarded a scholarship to help fund and further his criminal justice education.

Tyler C. Holderread, a 2011 Wawasee graduate, was the Kosciusko County recipient of a $500 scholarship, presented by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association Wednesday at the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Holderread plans to attend Ivy Tech in Warsaw.

The association awards scholarships to select students from each Indiana county annually. Applicants must be a member or the son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter of a member of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association, and be committed to pursuing an education and career in law enforcement at an Indiana college or university as a full-time student, according to the association.[[In-content Ad]]
