Rex D. Hogan, Silver Lake, and Diane Rae Kennedy, Warsaw, were married Jan. 27, 1951, by the Rev. Ivan R. Woods. They were attended by Rupert and Donna Brechbiel, Plymouth.
He was a former farmer and builder. She worked in several positions in merchandising and most of all as a mother and grandmother.
They are active in church and several Masonic and Shrine organizations.
They are the proud parents of five children: Debra (and spouse Carl) Hoyle, Florida; John (and spouse Dianne) Hogan, Goshen; Sally (and spouse Jim) Priser and Laura (and spouse Steve) Kasper, all of Warsaw; and the late Don Ray Hogan; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
They will celebrate with an open house planned by their children from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church, 115 Parkridge Drive, Warsaw.
