He was born June 17, 1928, in Beckley, W.Va., to Wilber C. and Margaret Lena Lively Mann. On Feb. 4, 1961, in Silver Lake, he married Rose Lee Hale Patrick, who survives.
A longtime Kosciusko County resident, he retired as a polisher at Zimmer. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Kosciusko County and Masonic Lodge, Pierceton. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.
Also surviving are five sons: Carl Edward Patrick, Columbus, Neb.; Earl Patrick, Gallatin, Tenn.; Charles Patrick, Warsaw; James Patrick, LaGrange; and Howard Patrick, Claypool; two daughters, Virginia Smith and Teresa Rhoades, both of Warsaw; three sisters: Gladys Allison, Las Vegas, Nev.; Phyllis Riley, Cadiz, Ky.; and Dorothy Kirk, Hampton, Va.; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church of Kosciusko County with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.
