He was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Lincolnville, to Floyd and Uvah Stansberry Creamer. On Oct. 19, 1952, he married Loa Dean Cummings, who died March 16, 2004.
He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War in 1951-53 while serving on the U.S.S. Boxer. After his service term with the Marines, he owned and operated the H&D Creamer Co., Warsaw, and retired in 2010. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 49 of Warsaw, Past Commander of American Legion Post 40&8, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126 and Moose Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Lesa (and spouse Keith) Sexton, Ashland, Ohio, and Laura Knoop (and fiancée Gene Lord), Warsaw; two sons, Randy (and spouse Kathy) Creamer, Silver Lake, and Pat Creamer, Warsaw; his companion, Sue Rhoades, Warsaw; two brothers, Dwayne (and spouse Susan) Creamer, Warsaw, and Marvin (and spouse Fran) Creamer, Arkansas; a sister, Mary (and spouse Chuck) Carpenter, Etna Green; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Creamer; and a sister, Wilma Creamer.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with chaplain Tom Everett officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military honors.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
