NORTH MANCHESTER - Helen M. Kissinger, 87, of North Manchester, died at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 16, 2007, in Wabash County Hospital.

She was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Wabash County, to Ernest and LaVon Sanderson Bodkin. On Nov. 6, 1938, she married Paul B. Kissinger, who died March 3, 1970.

She retired from the former Controls Co., North Manchester, in 1985 after 23 years. She was a member of Nazarene Church, North Manchester. She is a graduate of Gilead High School and a member of WCTU, Akron. She was treasurer for the Missionary Society at the Nazarene Church for 50 years.

Surviving are three sons: Paul W. Kissinger and Don (and spouse Linda) Kissinger, both of North Manchester; and Ernest Leroy (and spouse Beverly) Kissinger, Fort Wayne; a sister, Lucile (and spouse Raymond) Doering, Akron; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with the Rev. Darrell Cox officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 2 to4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
