Heinisch To Seek District 1 Council Seat

Doug Heinisch filed today for the Kosciusko County Council District 1 seat.

The seat is currently held by Charlene Knispel.

Heinisch (R-Syracuse) has lived in Syracuse since 1997 with his wife, Heidi, and four children: Brett, Cal, Meg and Cam.

Heinisch is currently the chief financial officer of Grabill Cabinet Co. and is president of the Lakeland Youth Center. He has served on the center's board for eight years, including five years as treasurer and the last two years as president.

He is a graduate of Indiana University and is a member of Saint Martin's Church.

He is looking forward to using the knowledge and experience gained in business as well as with non-profit organizations to further serve his community.[[In-content Ad]]
