Don and Betty Hedington, Atwood, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary July 13. Don Hedington and Betty Truex were married June 13, 1957, in Atwood, by the Rev. Raymond Wilson.

She retired from Crystal Lake Egg Products and he is a self-employed livestock hauler and backhoe operator.

The couple have two children: Mrs. Tony (Sara) Koser, and Kenny (and wife Trisha) Hedington, both of Atwood. They have five grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate with an open house July 15 at the Atwood Community Center from 1 to 4 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]
