Merl and Joann Heckaman, Warsaw, will markt heir 50th wedding anniversary June 6. The couple were married June 6, 1958, in Bremen with the Rev. Melvin Livengood officiating.

He owns Bobcat of Warsaw Inc., formerly Gragg Equip. Co., where she was a secretary. They are members of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, where Merl teaches Sunday school. He also is a member of the Warsaw Morning Optimists and Gideon's International. Joann is a member of the Double H Home Ec Club.

The couple have five children: Jay (and spouse Sharon) Heckaman, Silver Lake; the late Brian (and spouse Julie) Heckaman, and Tim (and spouse Noel) Heckaman, all of Claypool; and Kay Goon and Eric (and spouse Nicole) Heckaman, all of Warsaw. They have 14 grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. June 1 at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church at the corner of Ind. 15S and CR 200S, Warsaw.[[In-content Ad]]
